If you are feeling the pinch of adversity you are fortunate:
(See the sher of Galib with meaning and my commentary)

LITERAL MEANING:
(-simplified form of sher of Galib)

COMMENTARY
Mirza Galib is saying that he is fortunate that he could experience the rare kind of pinch by getting half-success in the path of ambitions. This pinch has kept him activated for reaching even greater heights of literature. He is using the similes of “beloved” for ambition and “arrow half-entered in his heart” for half-success.
